The International Mandela Day commemoration at Colosa Senior Primary School was a resounding success, bringing together the South African Army, government representatives, teachers, learners, parents and community members in a shared commitment to service and community upliftment.<\/p>\n
The programme was led by Brigadier General Umalusi Joseph “U.J.” Jama, General Officer Commanding the South African Army Signal Formation. In his address, Brig. Gen. Jama encouraged everyone to carry the spirit of Mandela Day beyond the symbolic 67 minutes of service and to make serving others a way of life.<\/p>\n
As part of the day\u2019s activities, learners at Colosa Senior Primary School received essential donations, including sanitary towels, school shoes, stationery and books. The contributions were made possible through the generosity of SPAR Idutywa, Crisis Shield, Metropolitan and Loraine Primary School in Gqeberha.<\/p>\n
