The Portfolio Head for Development Planning at Mbhashe Local Municipality, Cllr Nomvuyiseko Mgedezi, together with other councillors, officially handed over tools of trade to Mbhashe SMMEs and Cooperatives at the TRC Hall in Idutywa.<\/p>\n
In her opening remarks, Cllr Mgedezi emphasised that this initiative marks a new chapter for local entrepreneurs and cooperatives. \u201cAs Mbhashe Local Municipality, we are investing in our people, strengthening livelihoods, and creating opportunities for sustainable development,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

In total, 14 beneficiaries received tools of trade through the Municipality\u2019s SMME and Cooperative Funding Programme.<\/p>\n
Through this programme, Mbhashe Local Municipality is turning Local Economic Development into action\u2014empowering its people, strengthening the business sector, and boosting the local economy for the benefit of all.
