The Sepeng Training Project continued its rise on the global athletics stage as three of its standout athletes delivered strong performances at the Stockholm leg of the Wanda Diamond League.
Leading the charge was Prudence Sekgodiso, who stormed to a third-place finish in the women’s 800m, clocking a 1:58.00. The 23-year-old South African, already qualified for the Tokyo World Athletics Championships, showcased her trademark strength and tactical poise in a stacked field.
Oratilwe Nowe, representing Botswana, also impressed in the women’s 800m. The national record holder held her own against world-class competition, continuing his consistent form this season with another sub 1:59.
Rounding out the trio, Keitlhobogile Haingura gained valuable experience in his Diamond League debut.
While he didn’t reach the podium, his participation marked a significant milestone in his development under coach Samuel Sepeng, who has guided multiple athletes to World Athletics Champs qualification.
