The faculty of economics and financial sciences successfully hosted a tutor certification ceremony in Mthatha, Savoy hotel yesterday.
This ceremony was aimed at acknowledging the support, outstanding performance and dedication of tutors throughout the year, going extra miles to supports students to do better.
In his opening remarks, faculty executive Dean, prof Manoj Panicker applauded and appreciated the tutors for the hard work they have shown throughout the year.
“You have turned confusion into clarity, stress into steady progress and you have shown that leadership has many forms,” he said.
Faculty deputy executive dean, Dr Regina Stofile highlighted how tutorship is within the faculty strategy because it is all about uplifting and helping students.
Guess speaker, Zintle Poyo, a Wsu Alumni also applauded the tutors for their hard work and commitment to education.
“Your dedication to helping others learn is truly commendable and appreciated, you create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters growth,” she said
