Eastern Cape Hon Premier Lubabalo Oscar Mabuyane together with the Chris Hani District Municipality Hon Executive Mayor Cllr Lusanda Sizani and Dr AB Xuma Local Municipality Hon Mayor Cllr Siyabulela Zangqa visited the home of Mr Silumko Mahlasela, former Municipal Manager of Dr AB Xuma Local Municipality and now Municipal Manager of Mnquma Local Municipality, following the tragic passing of his father, Mr Jida Zamangomthetho Mahlasela.
During the visit in Quthubeni, Ward 13, the Premier extended heartfelt condolences to the Mahlasela family, paying tribute to the late Mr Mahlasela for raising a visionary public servant whose leadership and dedication continue to make a meaningful contribution to governance and community development.
The condolence visit by the Eastern Cape Premier and municipal leaders shows respect and solidarity with the Mahlasela family.
