The Mbhashe Local Municipality Executive Mayor, Dr Samkelo Janda, visited local traders and producers showcasing a diverse range of products, crafts and goods at the Eastern Amathole Agricultural and Food Trade Fair recently held in Willowvale.
Among the exhibitors were Sombhida Small Holding Farm specialising in vegetable production, Ndlovedligoduka Primary Co-operative producing eggs, vegetables and scones, Kingdom Financial Institute specialising in vegetable production, African Black Farming producing vegetables, Willowvale Arts Centre showcasing beadwork, Andinakuzibuza na Multi-purpose Primary Co-operative producing vegetables, grains, herbs and beadwork, JK Mabohlo Rabbit Farming specialising in rabbit production, Nosintu Foundation producing vegetables and blocks, Likhona Lethu Services Pty Ltd (Agro-Processing) producing charcoal, and M&B Projects specialising in brine-free broilers and abattoir services.
The Executive Mayor expressed appreciation for the hard work, innovation and dedication demonstrated by the local enterprises.He reaffirmed the Municipality’s commitment to empowering and supporting small businesses by creating opportunities for growth and providing platforms that enhance their visibility and market access.
